Meridian was born in San Francisco.
India was always part of the idea.

Portrait of Krrish Ghindani, founder of Meridian

नमस्ते

I grew up between India and the United States. I know what it is like to stand in a strong academic or professional setting and still feel one conversation away from the people who actually shape the work you care about. Meridian started as a San Francisco society because that is where the founder chapter lives today. Meridian India is the same promise, aimed at people who want that quality of table without always flying twelve time zones to find it.

The full founder story, books, research, and the emotional through-line live on the US site’s story page. Read that if you want the longer version. This page is shorter on purpose: India is not an afterthought, and you should not have to import a California narrative to feel invited.

If someone you trust has already mentioned Meridian to you, treat that as the real introduction. Everything else on this site is scaffolding.

Why India, why now

The Indian ecosystem no longer needs another “community platform.” It needs small circles with high trust, where finance, technology, and serious research can overlap without being reduced to pitches.

Meridian India is for diaspora returnees, locals, and people who split time: same rules, same discretion, calendars that respect IST and monsoon season and festival weeks as much as quarter-end.
